Set of 4 bright yellow and white hand painted cups and saucers made by Gold Castle, 1930s Japan. These are bright and cheery and just wonderful.
SIZE
Cup is 3 1/2" by just under 2" tall
Saucer is 5 1/4" in diameter
CONDITION
Very Good. There is some light wear to the gold on the handles of the cups and to the gold rims. There are a couple of light rough patches - no wear or loss of color just slightly rough. There is a black mark on one of the cups that cannot be removed and I believe it is under the glaze so would be considered a factory error. It is small and measures approx. 1/8"
